The initial excitement over Harry Potter has subsided slightly, but for now he's still drawing huge crowds, making seeing all of Islands of Adventure in one day a lot harder than it used to be. Of course, the definition of "all" will be different for everyone. For example, many people will have no interest in subjecting themselves to the intense thrills of the roller coasters, Doctor Doom, or Forbidden Journey. Teenagers, young singles, and those without children can probably skip the interactive play areas (although they're pretty nifty and worth a peek).
Those who want to see literally everything Islands of Adventure has to offer can still probably come pretty close in a single day, especially if they are willing to arrive early and step lively. If you pay for Universal Express Plus passes or enjoy the front-of-the-line privileges of staying on site, then seeing it all is much more manageable.
