Much of what can be said about the shopping in Universal Studios Florida can be repeated for the shopping experiences offered in Islands of Adventure. However, a number of things are worth noting.
The Middle Eastern bazaar section of The Lost Continent offers a number of shops run by some very talented artisans. Look here for the kind of gifts that won't scream "bought in a theme park!" Look, too, in Port of Entry for unusual folk sculptures and decorative items.
For the child in us all, there's a satisfying selection of classic kids books for sale in Seuss Landing, and the treasure trove of comic books to be found in Marvel Super Hero Island is nothing to look down your nose at. Finally, the Wizarding World sets a new standard for theme park shopping with unique merchandise sure to have Potter fans panting. Again, keep in mind the wisdom of saving your shopping for the end of the day. The Islands of Adventure Trading Company in Port of Entry has a good selection of souvenirs representing all of the park's islands, including a sampling of Potter products. There's even a Universal Store in CityWalk, which means you can shop for souvenirs days after your tickets to the parks have expired. You can also shop online at UniversalOrlando.com or by phone by calling (888) 762-0820.
