Every theme park needs a place, strategically located near the entrance, to serve those who thought they’d save some time by skipping breakfast only to arrive at the park starving to death. Croissant Moon Bakery opens when the park does and its popularity tends to overwhelm its minuscule indoor seating area and the small number of outdoor tables. There are two separate lines here, starting from opposite ends of the deli-like counter, and both serve exactly the same fare.
For breakfast, there are muffins and such along with the house’s own branded coffee. Better yet, treat yourself to one of the pastries, pies, or cakes that are served here. Many of them are exceptional. Or pick up an “On the Run Continental Breakfast” (coffee, fruit cup, and your choice of muffin or Danish) for $6.
Later in the day, try the Port of Call sandwich platters. Peppered roast beef, smoked turkey, and honey-glazed ham are served with potato salad and fresh fruit, while hot, pressed paninis come with pasta. Soup and salads are also available.
