You will enter Shrek’s Ye Olde Souvenir Shoppe in a good mood because you will be exiting from the immensely entertaining Shrek 4-D attraction. It houses the usual assortment of Shrek-ified souvenir fare, from t-shirts to plush dolls of all the principal characters. Petite green “ogre ears” like the ones sometimes worn by the ride attendants make a nice fashion statement (so much nicer than those large clunky round black ears worn by the fashion-challenged) and they’re cheap, too. There is also a line of princess apparel, and accessories including tiaras, cone-shaped hats, purses, and (for the casual princess) t-shirts.
Tip: Check out the mirror behind the cashier.
If you used your Amex card to purchase your multi-day park ticket or annual pass, you are entitled to enter the exclusive American Express Passholder Lounge. Behind an easily-overlooked door across from the Shrek shop hides an air-conditioned oasis of free bottled water and light snacks. You'll need your receipt and card to get in; ask at the ticket booths for details.
