Juxtaposing California’s San Francisco and New England’s Amity might seem jarring at first, but in the movies anything is possible. In fact, the two areas are quite separate and the designers have done a good job of finessing the transition from one to the other; the double-barreled name for this “set” is more a matter of convenience than anything else.
San Francisco/Amity
is distinguished by the presence of Jaws, the wonderfully scary
boat ride. The San Francisco part is also packed with eating places,
some of them quite nice indeed.
