Arena football is a scaled-down, indoor version of pro football. Two eight-man teams square off on a field about a half the size of the outdoor version. Adding interest to the game, six players on each team play both offense and defense. Otherwise, the rules are much the same as those for pro football. There are 19 professional arena football teams in the United States.
