Location: On the east side of Lake Toho
Billing itself as the “upscale alternative,” Glades Adventures operates only smaller 6-passenger airboats on one-hour tours of Kissimmee’s Lake Tohopekaliga. On this tour, you might spot (depending on the season) bald eagles, osprey, otters, deer, wild boar, and, of course, alligators. Two-hour nighttime alligator hunts are also available by appointment.
Back at the dock, there is a small alligator nursery, which is primarily an opportunity for tourists to touch a real live (and small) alligator. There is also a restaurant at dockside serving “Florida-style” food like gator tails, catfish, and frogs legs. Yum.
