Hidden in an inconspicuous storefront location, this Equity company specializes in small-scale musicals presented in an intimate and unpretentious space.
Typical shows presented here include I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Godspell, and Pete ‘n’ Keely, a cabaret-style show evoking the glamour and sophistication of the Steve and Edie era. They also do the occasional straight play like Neil Simon’s California Suite or a one-man show about Mark Twain.
The Playhouse’s season runs from September to June. Show times are Friday to Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $30 for adults, $28 for seniors (62+), and $20 for students. Matinee tickets are a bit less. Shows in their Youth Theater series are $15 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under.
