This intimate venue in downtown Orlando is maintained by the nonprofit Central Florida Theatre Alliance as a rental space for companies that don’t have a permanent home. Among the groups that have performed here are the Orlando Black Essentials Theatre, People’s Theatre, and the Oops Guys, a duo presenting what is described as “schticky gay comedy.”
Ticket prices are set by the group currently using the space and range from $1.50 to $15. The web site contains not only information about what’s going on at the Studio Theater but a searchable database of the entire Orlando theater scene.
