From October to May, this homegrown ballet company, under the direction of Bruce Marks, mounts three-performance runs of about five ballets, ranging from “timeless classics to innovative contemporary works.”
They draw on a permanent company of professional dancers and a number of apprentices, occasionally presenting guest artists and visiting choreographers. Each year during the Christmas season, they present the ever-popular Nutcracker, in association with the Orlando Philharmonic.
Performances are usually given at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center downtown (I-4 Exit 83). Single tickets range from $15 to $70. Call the number above to purchase tickets.
