World of Orchids is actually a working greenhouse that will ship its orchids and other plants nationwide. To educate and enchant the public, they have constructed a vast greenhouse covering some three-quarters of an acre. In the carefully controlled warm, humid air hundreds of orchids are displayed in a natural jungle setting, complete with waterfalls, babbling streams filled with koi fish, and squawking parrots. The total number of orchids varies seasonally and can double at certain times of the year.
