Magical Midway is a smaller version of Fun Spot, described above, but due to the absence of kiddie rides it draws an older teen clientele. The main attractions are the two elevated wooden go kart tracks, but there are also midway-style rides including a scaled down version of Universal’s Dr. Doom shot tower ($5). Since it’s easy to burn through a lot of money paying for individual rides, the $28 ride-all-day option quickly begins to make sense.
There is also a giant sling shot that will shoot two riders ($25 each) some 370 feet into the air where they tumble and bounce for a while before being reeled back in. You can document your insanity on video for an extra charge. This one attracts far more observers than riders.
Nearby: Dottie’s Comedy Theater, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Skull Kingdom, Titanic, Universal Orlando, Wet ’n Wild.
