What: Cafeteria and walk-up windows

Located to your right as you enter the park, Surfside is an unprepossessing looking cafeteria whose main serving line is a long open window in the side of the building. Turn the corner and you’ll find more walk-up windows. Pizza combos are the main attraction here, but there are also turkey wraps and sandwiches along with pulled pork BBQ. Kids will probably appreciate the Beach Dog Combo, which is a jumbo hot dog and fries to which chili or cheese can be added for a modest sum. For even younger kids, there are kiddie meals served in a souvenir beach bucket ready to take to the park’s sandy areas.
The name is a bit misleading, but the utilitarian seating area, some of it shaded, does look out over the Beach area to Runaway Rapids and Paradise Lagoon. No beer is served here.
