Orlando's not a one-mouse town and this is the site that proves it!

Adventure Island - Arriving at Adventure Island

When you have turned into the main entrance, you will proceed up a winding, shaded, and beautifully landscaped drive to a ticket booth, where you will pay for parking. Parking is $6 per vehicle, motorcycles park free. Parking is free only if your Passport includes Adventure Island.

There is a very large and minimally shaded parking lot and if you arrive late in the morning, you may be far from the entrance, to which you must walk. At the park’s main entrance, you will find a security check, ticket booths, electronic ticket kiosks, and an ATM.

Tip: Coolers larger than 16 quarts or more than 15 inches in length or width are not allowed in the park and it can be a long walk back to your car. See Eating at Adventure Island, below, for information on the Picnic Pavilion.

What To Expect

Everything said about Aquatica in the What To Expect section of Chapter Four holds true of Adventure Island, except that here there are no animals and there are more (and better) speed slides than at the Orlando park.
