Busch Gardens Africa hosts a growing number of razzle-dazzle themed events timed to the calendar. The oldest of these is an alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration for young people and families.
Halloween shenanigans are in evidence during October. These are typically after-hours affairs that require a hefty separate admission (a recent Howl-O-Scream event was $58). However, if you purchase your tickets in advance or have an annual pass, discounts are substantial.
During the Christmas season there are nightly tree lighting ceremonies and in the fall the park hosts a series of big band concerts.
