Xcursions, near the entrance to Bird Gardens, is perhaps the handsomest shop in the park. The emphasis is on nature and earth sciences, with toys and books aimed at a younger audience who will also appreciate the plush toys. There is some nice casual clothing for adults, costume jewelry for women, and a good selection of figurines, with the eagle statuettes and the Wyland sculptures the standouts.
At the other end of this land is Garden Gate, a gift shop for the serious gardener featuring everything from seeds to small potted plants to decorations and whirligigs and other decorations for the garden.
