Kelly says: Lifestyles of the cutest and cuddliest
One of the main missions of today’s enlightened zoological parks is the propagation of species, especially threatened and endangered ones. Busch Gardens takes this responsibility very seriously and, rather than leave things to chance, they scoop up newborns, bring them here, and give them the kind of tender loving care that will best ensure their survival. What you see here will, naturally, depend on who’s been giving birth in the days and weeks prior to your visit. If you’re lucky you’ll see something cute and cuddly. What you’re most likely to see, however, are fledgling birds that can look downright ugly.
Question and answer sessions with the keepers of the nursery are held several times a day. Times are posted on a sign at the entrance.
