Busch Gardens Africa offers a number of special tours in addition to the Serengeti Safari Tour (see Crown Colony, above). These offer special perks, behind-the-scenes access, and up-close encounters with some of its animal charges. There is a hefty extra charge for these special experiences, but if you have the budget I think you’ll find it money well spent. The fees given below (which do not include tax) are in addition to regular park admission and no annual passholder or other discounts are offered.

Tour tickets can also be purchased in the park at the Adventure Tour Center, to your left as you enter the park; at the Heart of Jungala, a small counter in the Tiger Lodge viewing pavilion in Jungala; at the Park Information counter in the entrance to Desert Grill in Timbuktu; and at the Edge of Africa shop in Crown Colony.
Children under five are not permitted on any animal interactions, although they can participate in other elements of some tours; bilingual guides can be arranged with prior notice.
