Getting There
Busch Gardens is roughly 75 miles from Universal Orlando, about 65 miles from the intersection of I-4 and US 192 in Kissimmee. You can drive there in about one and a quarter to one and a half hours depending on where you start and how closely you observe the posted speed limit.
Drive west on I-4 to Exit 7 (US 92 West, Hillsborough Avenue). Go about 1.5 miles and turn right on 56th Street (SR 583); go another two miles and turn right on Busch Boulevard. Busch Gardens is about two miles ahead on your right.
Shuttle Bus Service
If you’d rather not drive from Orlando, you can take advantage of the shuttle bus service that Busch operates from the Orlando area. The fare is $10 per person, but if you have a five-park FlexTicket the service is free. There are seven pick-up points conveniently located along Orlando’s I-4 corridor, including Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, and Old Town in Kissimmee. Buses depart between roughly 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with return journeys timed to the current closing hours at Busch Gardens Africa, which vary seasonally (see below). Reservations are required. To make one, or check the latest schedule and pick-up points, call (800) 221-1339.
