This area takes its theme from the great British colonial enclaves of East Africa, where the well-heeled lived the good life and played cricket and polo while being waited on by the unshod. A real British Colonial would probably not recognize the place, but for the rest of us it’ll do just fine. The overall impression is one of casual elegance and good taste. Crown Colony serves as a comfortable home to several attractions (like the Clydesdale stables, and the Show Jumping Hall of Fame) that stretch the African metaphor a bit. It is also the home of the Crown Colony House, a very nice full-service sit-down restaurant.
