This two-hour tour focuses on the animals of the park, with an emphasis on the newest additions to the Busch Gardens family. Consequently, the menu may change depending on who’s given birth most recently. At each stop, you get a personal briefing from the keepers. The tour visits the Clydesdale stables and Edge of Africa. Then you climb aboard a truck for your own Serengeti Safari Tour (see above). From there, you visit the rhinos and the elephants. A stop at the Nairobi Field Station might also be included. At most stops you will get to hand feed the animals and the tour guide will provide you with free ice-cold water during the tour.
There is just one Animal Adventure Tour each day, at 1:30 p.m. The tour, which is accessible to handicapped guests, costs $120 for all ages and is limited to seven people, so prior reservations are recommended. Otherwise, you can stop by the Expedition Africa shop to see if any slots are available. This tour is a sure-fire hit for animal lovers. If you are planning on taking the $34 Serengeti Safari Tour anyway, you may want to consider upgrading to this very special experience.
