Universal Orlando is open 365 days a year. In the slow seasons, the parks may open at nine and close at six. During the high season, the parks may open earlier than the official time and close at eleven. The gates may open a few minutes prior to the “official” time, but there is no official “early entry” program allowing access to the parks an hour or more prior to the posted opening time. But if you can’t enter early you can stay late. Typically, the last visitors aren’t shooed out until an hour or more after closing time.
As noted previously, opening and closing times can also be affected by special events. If the park will be closing early, there should be a large sign posted near the entrance gates informing you of this sad fact. You can also double-check today or tomorrow’s official hours by calling (407) 363-8000, the main information number.
Tip: Take your time leaving the parks at night unless you’re absolutely exhausted (a strong possibility). Strolling slowly through these magical streets under a moonlit sky, hand in hand with that special someone, is an unforgettable experience when you are among just a handful of people in the park.
