Two-Park Unlimited Admission Ticket:
(Universal Studios Florida AND Islands of Adventure)

All ages (Immediate Use): $102.23
This is the most recent — and most attractive — ticket option, even if the name is somewhat misleading. The ticket provides seven consecutive days of admission to both parks as well as admission to most CityWalk nightspots. As the Universal promotional material points out, this option costs less than a one-day ticket to Disney World with a Park-Hopper option. It is available only online, so there is no additional discount offered.
I’m not sure what the thinking behind “Advance Purchase” and “Immediate Use” is. You only need to purchase your tickets “at least 2 days in advance of your visit” to qualify for the advance purchase discount. Perhaps they want to give people an economic incentive to buy months in advance.
Two-Day, Two-Park Tickets:
(Universal Studios Florida AND Islands of Adventure)
Adults: $124.96
Children (3 to 9): $113.91
This option would seem obsolete now that Universal has introduced the Two-Park Unlimited Admission Ticket, but at press time it was still being offered for purchase at the gate (not online). However, if you are visiting on the spur of the moment, this may be your only option for a two-day visit. The second day must be used within 30 days of first use. Since this ticket is so unattractive compared to the Two-Park Unlimited option, it may be gone when you visit.
(Another form of multi-day pass, the Orlando FlexTicket, which offers admission to other theme parks in addition to the Universal parks, is discussed a little later.)
Once again, let me warn you that Universal changes its ticket options frequently.
