Halloween Horror Nights = More

More haunted houses, more shows and more infamous villains stalking the sidewalks should result in customers spending less time in lines this year at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights events.
That's the word from Universal Orlando, via the Sentinel.
Another thing that could help keep the crowds down is the price — $64.95.
Now that's scary.

Halloween Horror Nights has long since jumped-the-shark folks.
Let me explain…
Imagine a continuous line of people walking single file through a haunted house where each scary character jumping out with a ‘boo’ is visually evident further up the line of folks ahead of you. You will see the scary character ‘boo’ routine multiple times before you yourself get the scary character ‘boo’. Yes, it borders on the ridiculous.
It is amazing to me how easily duped the main stream media (msm) are as they get a ‘special’ run through the haunted houses, in stark contrast to the experience that I have noted above, hence the GREAT reviews that msm have of their Halloween Horror Nights experience.
Parents Beware: Note that there is an unreal amount of alcohol being consumed within the park, booze carts are every corner and a hoard of scantly clad girlies hocking jello-shots within giant hypodermic needles, which struck me as not a good mixture given the crowd is so young. Also note that the Vampire Haunted House borders on the pornographic, as the leather shot clan young man with bondage hands tied back on a bed is ravaged by a young vampire girl in sheer bondage-porno style.
Here is where this night has an upside; you will never get a chance all year to run through such short lines at these parks as on this night. Arrive early for the haunted houses or selectively choose one or two haunted houses and then spend your time at the shows after the rides.

Never have true words on this event been said. I have gone for 11 years and sadly it only becomes a bigger party instead of a Haunted Event, I say Head to Tampa for Howl-o-scream.
