Gatorland Splash Zone Delayed
Gatorland has delayed the opening of its new water play area. The Sentinel has the skinny:
I don't know how Gatorland feels about being called a "small attraction." It ain't Disney World, but it ain't a miniature golf course either.
The small attraction on South Orange Blossom Trail had planned to open the area, called Gator Gully Splash Park, on Saturday, but spokeswoman Michelle Harris said last-minute modifications to the water-flow system forced a postponement.
"They want to make sure the area meet the maximum fun factor for all the kids who will play in it," Harris said.
