CVB Makes A Great Choice
The Orlando CVB, which recently lost long time president Bill Peeper to retirement, has announced that Gary Sain of Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell, an Orlando marketing and PR firm with a tourism specialty, will become their new president.
CVB Vice President of Marketing Jose Estorino, who has been acting as interim president, was widely expected to get the job, but he resigned to start a new gig in Hong Kong, where his wife Jill is taking a job at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Sain is an inspired choice. I dealt with him when he was handling publicity chores for Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. He's a real pro who has a deep and abiding love for Orlando's attractions.
Expect great things from the CVB in the years to come.
